Dogs are not allowed in any part of the Hall or Gardens, except guide and assistance dogs (call or email us if you are unsure).

The Hall is open in August only – Every afternoon except the first three Mondays. Open from 2pm – last entry 3.45pm. Gardens are open in August whenever the Hall is open.
Guided Tours are Tuesday to Thursday, you can select your tour time at booking. Tours last approx. 45mins/1 hour.
Walk through days are Friday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. Please choose your arrival time when booking.
Entry to Hall & Gardens can be pre-booked on the website or you can pay for both on the day on arrival. Please note – guided tour numbers are restricted, pre-booking advised.

Gardens opening times
Open 1st April to Wednesday 30th September.
The Gardens are open every day in August except the first 3 Monday’s 1pm to 5pm.
Facilities and Access
At Melbourne Hall Gardens we have tried to make all areas accessible to wheelchairs, buggies and pedestrians. However, by the nature of the garden, there are some quite steep slopes and steps – although there is generally an alternative. Some paths are uneven due to tree roots and care needs to be taken. The gardeners are always happy to be of assistance whenever possible – do please ask if you require any assistance.
Public toilets are located in the Visitor Centre near the entrance to the gardens.
No dogs are allowed within the gardens except assistance dogs.
There is limited parking in Church Square and Castle Square.
